Description:

• Asset Work Management, Electric Generation Interconnection (EGI)
• Utilities similar to client
• SAP Work and Asset Management focusing on Electric Distribution, Transmission, Substation
• Good to have: Power generation experience (assets for Power Generation, could be hydro, electric, etc.)
• Good to have: SAP Module: Field Service Management - Very good to have
• Experience in EGI Program
• Understand utility work management - customer request to electric grid interconnection
• SAP, Customer Web Portal, CC&B, GIS Documentum

Responsibilities:

• Concurrent management of one or more medium to large complex IT Business Technology projects
• Work with stakeholders and project team to elicit, analyze, validate and prioritize business needs/requirements
• Conduct interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
• Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis
• Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
• Participate in the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features/functions have been enabled and optimized
• Participate in the selection of any software solutions that the organization may opt to use
• Develop and utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications
• Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner
• Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team
• Develop and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements
• Assist with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options
• Manage, enforce and redefine the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to stakeholders
• Participate in the testing effort throughout the project lifecycle, including test script creation

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Computer Science/Information Systems, Business, Engineering, etc. or equivalent work experience
• 5 years of related experience or equivalent
• Experience in Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum methodology
• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
• Proven experience with business IT applications
• Ability to lead and influence decision-making working with senior management
• Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
• Strong customer service orientation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience with MS Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of SQL

Desired:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
• Experience working with Electric Generation Interconnection program
• Experience working with Electric Distribution/Transmission/Substation work and asset management processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver on significant technology solutions/business process improvements from concept to implementation
